Griffin Expands Again – Formal Opening of New Offices!

On Friday 4th July 2008, Mr Patrick Mercer OBE MP formally opened the Griffin Security Group new offices at Balderton Hall in Newark on Trent, Nottinghamshire. Patrick Mercer is the MP for Newark and Retford is a member of the House of Commons Home Affairs Select Committee and as a former soldier and opposition front-bench spokesman for Homeland Security, he maintains a keen interest in all issues pertaining to defence and security.

Griffin Security Group moved to their new offices at Balderton Hall earlier this year following a considerable growth and expansion of business. Griffin now has the resource of eight in-house security consultants whose skill and experience in a wide-array of disciplines and qualifications including CLAS, CISSP, BCI, Prince 2 and CISMP. Primarily from a background of HM Forces, the Civil Service and more latterly, the commercial and financial sectors, our consultants are able to offer cost-effective and fit-for-purpose solutions to clients seeking advice and guidance on security related or business continuity solution based on a sound, risk-managed and holistic approach. Griffin is also fortunate to be allied with and able to call upon the services of a number of specialist and highly-skilled associate consultants to compliment our team effort when the need arises to ensure that our clients receive the very best possible all-encompassing service to cover all requirements.

The expansion to the new offices has also provided Griffin the ability to conduct on-site training in their facility which boasts a state-of-the-art interactive ‘whiteboard’ together with additional ‘break-out’ rooms and refreshment area. The training facility retains versatility and allows for use as a Board or Large meeting room as and when required. When not in use by Griffin it is intended to offer out the facility for client or other external organisation’s use. Balderton Hall is set amid the extensive grounds of the former Balderton Hospital. It is a picturesque setting with ample car parking and an ideal tranquil working and learning environment.
