Colin Braziel

Chairman

Colin Braziel is the founder and Executive Chairman of the Griffin Security Group. 

Colin has been involved with global security since 1968. A government security background, gained internationally as a member of the RAF Provost & Security Branch, and subsequent engagements in the corporate security sector have provided Colin with the strong business foundations on which he has built his security career.  Colin is a seasoned information security, data protection, risk management and BCP/DR specialist. He is an experienced programme/project manager and a member of the HMG CESG CLAS security consultant scheme.

Allan Hildage

Chief Executive Officer

Allan Hildage was appointed Chief Executive Officer in June 2005 having recently left his position as the Head of Corporate Security and Departmental Security Officer (DSO) for National Air Traffic Services Ltd (NATS).

Previously, he enjoyed an RAF service career of some 26 years of security and contingency planning related appointments.  He  ‘Retired’ as a Wing Commander 1997 and joined The John Lewis Partnership as the Security Manager for Waitrose Supermarkets, before returning to the ‘public sector’ at the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).  Until 1 Jan 2000 and the bifurcation of the CAA and National Air Traffic Services Ltd, he was dually appointed as the Chief Security Adviser / DSO for the CAA as well as his position with NATS.

JERRY PROFFITT

Director of Consultancy Services

Before joining the Griffin Security Group in 2007, Jerry was the Head of Security for Next Directory responsible for the management of fraud prevention, security investigations, the confidentiality of customer information and call centre integrity.

Jerry also has experience of warehousing and distribution security gained with a global logistics provider.

Jerry's security background includes a full service history with the RAF Police specialising in Counter Intelligence Terrorism.

BRENDA BRAZIEL

Company Secretary

Brenda Braziel has been the Company Secretary and a director of the group companies since their inception.

NICOLA ASHE

Group Business Manager

Nicola Ashe has worked for the company since 2003 and has responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day administration and managing business development for the group of companies.
